2017年度第2回英検の結果が火曜日に発表されました。12日に面接試験を受験した方は来週発表です。

 

昨日は高校生が準1級の合格を報告してくれました。ご家族もとても喜んでくださったようで、特におじいちゃんが感動してくれたということです。そういったご報告はとても嬉しく思います。今後もみなさまのたくさんの笑顔を見られるようにともに取り組んでいきたいと思います。

 

さて、英検クラスは現在5級～1級まであるのですが、1回のレッスンで基本的に4技能全てを扱います。Speakingにも触れますので、二次試験直前期にあせることもなく受験を迎えることができます。

 

さて、ここでクラスレッスンのご紹介をしたいと思います。通常3名から4名のクラスで、意見交換を積極的に行います。一番盛り上がるのがライティングの答案を発表するときです。賛成・反対の意見が出るなかで、こうやって書いたほうがいいのではないかと指摘しあうこともあります。

 

 

さて、11月第1回のレッスンでは2017年度第2回の英検2級のEssayを受講生で作りました。今までで一番書きにくいテーマだと言っていました。

Do you think people today use too much electricity?

 

I think that people today use too much electricity. I have two reasons to support my opinion.

First, if we look at the earth from space, there are many dots of lights. This means that many people use electricity all night especially in big cities. Second, we have now a lot of environmental problems. Therefore, we are interested in environmentally-friendly products such as electric cars.  In this way electricity plays an important role in our lives. For these reasons, people depend heavily on electricity in our lives.
