6月3日に2018年度第1回の英検が終了しました。
自己採点も終わった方も多いでしょう。
今回の感想を一部ご紹介します。

ライティングなんですけど、これで大丈夫でしょうか？

リスニングがむずかしかったので自信がありません。
今回は何よりもリーディングが全然出来ずでした。

Some people say that too much water is wasted in Japan. Do you agree with this opinion?
I think that too much water is used in Japan. I have two reasons to support my opinion. First, people use too much water in their daily lives. For example, it is customary that Japanese people put water in the bathtub. They change the water every day. Second, water is wasted in public places. I heard that in a gym where I often go, the average monthly water bill is 10 million yen. This is mainly because of the pool and bath. I think this is too costly considering people in the world who don't have enough water to live.(100)

また環境の内容でした。electricityを使いすぎかという問題が2回前でした。今回も「waterを使い過ぎ」で答えるのはなかなか難しいです！
〇 準1級のライティング答案例）
Do you think keeping animals in zoos is acceptable?
I heard that in Europe some animal rights activists break into zoos and release some of the animals in the name of animal protection. Therefore, I don’t think keeping animals in zoos is acceptable for the following two reasons.
First, before humans built civilizations all living things live together. Some animals hunt others and some are hunted, and the ecological balance was maintained. Living things lived based on their instinct and I think this is the way they should be. All animals have rights to live independently.
Second, the number of endangered species is increasing because of human activity. Some people say that these endangered species should be protected in facilities such as zoos, but in the history of the earth many species are extinct and new species are born. We should accept that this is natural selection.
For these reasons, I think keeping animals in zoos is in a way violation of animal rights, and the balance between humans and nature should not be manipulated. (166)
